These are the oldest National Parks in the United States. The United States was the first country in the world to establish a National Park when Yellowstone was created in 1872. The Grand Canyon, the National Park that probably pops into most people's minds first, does not make this list as it was the 14th National Park in the United States when it was created in 1919.

Officially, there are two National Parks located in Hawaii and both of them are spectacular, amazing places for people to see. In my opinion, a trip to Hawaii is incomplete without visits to the two National Parks in the state.

These are the four National Parks located in Colorado. The state of Colorado is one of the few states in the United States with multiple National Parks. Just over half the states in the United States have a National Park, but just 12 states have more than one. Colorado has a total four National Parks, two that have been around for many years and two that are less than 15 years old.
