The ship, "Spirit of Philadelphia," has been around for over 20 years. The dinner cruise ship “Spirit of Philadelphia” was renovated with a new look in 2011. Here you can enjoy a great buffet meal, dancing with live music as you stroll along one of the numerous decks as the ship cruises along the famous Delaware River providing a panoramic view of the city and its historical sites. The cruise ship offers lunches as well as dinner cruises. Whether you go alone or as a group there is much to enjoy. You may want to consider the “Moonlight Cruise.” The Spirit of Philadelphia also is a favorite venue for weddings. You can see this ship docked at Penns Landing along Columbus Blvd.


Philadelphia, is known for the culture and theater along the infamous Avenue of the Arts. Whether you are a Seinfeld fan, Beatles fan, there are various shows which will tickle your fancy. Here, you can enjoy a ballet, a bit of comedy, romance or orchestral performances. It is easy to view the scheduled events of each theater and purchase your tickets in advance from the theaters along the Avenue of the Arts.

Valentine's Day in Philadelphia can be a complete romantic week-end. There are various hotels that offer week-end package deals for those couples on a romantic get away. Although there is much to do in Philadelphia, if you would like to spread your wings, or maybe having a difficult time deciding where your destination should be, it is not difficult by train, or automobile to travel and enjoy some sightseeing in New York City or New Jersey, which are approximately 2 hours or less whether traveling by vehicle or by train.
